Haven House has recently set local businesses a new challenge and asked them to join Mission 365.

The aim is to get 365 local businesses to each raise £1,135 over the course of a year, which can pay for one night's care for a child at the Hospice. If 365 companies complete their mission; a whole year's worth of overnight care will have been funded by the generosity of our local businesses.

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House explains the thinking behind the challenge; "Mission 365 is a brand new initiative, which hopes to engage new and existing local business supporters to fundraise for the hospice. It costs £1,135 to provide a night of care for our children. For many of our exhausted parents and carers, that means a night of uninterrupted sleep, which really is an amazing gift that the local business community can provide to the parents of a seriously unwell child."

Businesses can raise the funds at any time over the year and there are so many ways they can do so. From raffles and team quizzes to bake sales and challenge events; Haven House is confident that local businesses can do it!

Thirteen companies have already joined the Mission 365 team, with three already completing their mission! The latest company to have joined is Lisa N Girls, Chingford.
